Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), MNIT Jaipur has organized a trip to Pahariya village on 9 March 2019 (Saturday). The theme of this trip is to inculcate the science and technology in the school students of the village through models, charts, and videos.
The team of 6 members has visited the village. The team reached the school at 10:00 a.m. Then the team conducted the study activity for the classes 1st to 7th.
The following activities were conducted in this trip:-
For class 1st & 2nd :-
1) Drawing Competition
2) Balloon Game (For color identification)
3) Crossword (For learning words)
4) Some daily life English words with their Hindi meaning
For class 3rd to 5th :-
1) Solar panel model & the importance of renewable energy
2) Solar system & Universe
3) Volcano model
4) Air pollution & its solutions
5) Water cycle model
6) 2D & 3D objects and their shadow shapes
7) Experiment to prove that air has weight & air applies pressure
8) How day & night happens
9) Explanation why the water remains cool in the pot even in summer
For class 6th & 7th :-
1) Volcano Model
2) Rainfall
3) Atmosphere
4) Types of winds
5) Solar Panel & renewable energy sources
Questions and answers were also given to the students regarding the model technology for their better understanding. The students were given toffees, pencils & pens as appreciation. The team also got positive feedback from the school principal.
