The lab facilitates experimental studies on weld quality, welding process optimization, heat input control, and metallurgical characterization of welded joints. It hosts B.Tech. (UG) students for the course Casting, Welding, and Forming Lab (22MET105).Polishing machine, Pulsed MIG welding machine (Make OTC Daihen, Model Welbee P400LII), Resistance Welding Machine, TIG welding machine (Make ESAB, Model ARC 400i), Portable SMA welding machines (Make ADOR Model CHAMP 200), Belt grinder, Underwater welding setup, Electrode backing oven (Make ESAB).
